Solution Development involves brainstorming solutions to problems and the individual components of those solutions. The more solutions brainstormed during solution development the better. By using brainstorming strategies like SCAMPER, Random Stimulation, Others’ Points of View, and Cross Fertilization students will be able to come up with far more solutions than the unstructured brainstorming most are familiar with (which is called free association).
